Welcome to Japanese Language Material Ring! Japanese Language Material Ring is a webring that connects websites that have original Japanese language material. The purpose of this webring is to share Japanese language material more effectively and efficiently.

1. Who can Participate in Japanese Language Material Ring?

Anybody who fulfill all three conditions listed below.

1) You have a website or a webpage which contains original Japanese language material you created, and you are willing to share them with other educators in the field.
2) You have an e-mail address (you need an e-mail address to register your website/webpage in this webring).
3) You have basic knowledge of HTML to install webring navigation banner onto your webpage (this navigation banner connects all the websites in Japanese Language Material Ring).

2. What can be Shared?

The material in this webring can be anything related to Japanese language education; for example, reading material, lesson plans, past exams, quizzes, bookmarks to the useful sites, photos of Japan, etc. The most important thing is -- the material has to be YOUR ORIGINAL.

You could specify how your material should be used by other educators. Some authors of the material may not want to have the material they created altered in any way. On the other hand, some authors may not mind if the material is changed slightly by the users provided they have the authors permission. As the author, you can decide the rules and state them clearly on your webpage or with each of the material in your site. In any case, the material should be used only for educational purposes, and should not be used for profit under any circumstances.

3. How to Join the Japanese Language Material Ring

1) Preparation of your website/webpage

Make a section or a webpage in your site devoted to this purpose. You could arrange your Japanese language material as you like. The ring navigation banner needs to be inserted later, so leave room for it on the top page of the section or the webpage. Ring navigation banner can be anywhere on the page, however, you should place it so it can be easily seen by other users of the Japanese Language Material Ring.

2) Submission of your website

Complete this form and submit your website information to the Ring Master. This form is in Japanese, however, it can be completed in English as well. The information you need to supply is:

* Name of your website
* URL (of the website, a section or a webpage in your site)
* Your name
* Your e-mail address
* Password
* Keywords
* site descriptions

Note: Your personal information (your name and e-mail address) will not appear in the webring.

Once your website is submitted, you will receive an automatic e-mail message from WebringJapan.

3) Installation of the webring navigation banner

The next step is to install the webring navigation banner. This banner connects all the sites in the Japanese Language Material Ring, and without this banner, your site will not be recognized as a part of the webring. Read the following instructions carefully, and install the banner on the top page of your website, a section of the website, or a webpage.
